February 16th - Sixth Sunday in Epiphany with Rev. Kati L.
Houts. How to "Walk in Forgiveness".

February
9th - Fifth Sunday in Epiphany with our guest homilist, Rev. Patricia
Lane. The truth of God's love for all.

our guest homilest, Bill Ellis. We heard
God's plan for you.

January 26th, we celebrated the Third Sunday in
Epiphany with our guest homilest, Rev. Katherine Norvell. A special, heartfelt thank you to a wonderful
message from Rev. Norvell as she spoke about MCC’s mission to ourselves and to
our Community – watch her message on our YouTube page – click on the media tab
and follow the link to view this special message.

January 19th - we celebrated the
Second Sunday in Epiphany. Our focus was
"God's Open Door Policy". God's Open Door policy is the door that
leads to opportunity. What is
opportunity and how does that answer the many questions about our lives? Come and join us as we explore this question
and many others that will help to prepare and nourish us for our journey.

January 12, we celebrated the "Baptism of Jesus". Although Christian baptism may perhaps be regarded as having
originated with John the Baptism when in fact it did not originate with
Christians, or with John the Baptist. Jews practiced baptism as a traditional
act of purification and initiation long before the coming of the Messiah. What
does baptism mean for us today? Does it
mean the same for all faith traditions?
Come and discover the answers for yourself as you join us this Sunday
for worship.

January
5th we celebrated "Life's Amazing Journey" with Rev.
Kati L. Houts. We celebrated Epiphany; the day the Magi arrived
to celebrate the arrival of Christ. Celebrating the birth of Jesus is an
incredible opportunity for all of humanity to begin again; to a life of
transformation, first of ourselves and then as instruments of transformation in
the world. Epiphany is a word that means to "show forth" or "to
manifest". It is a revealing of God in human form, in the person of
Jesus. It is a day to think about what God seeks to reveal to us and
through us.

December 29, 2013 - Worship service with Rev. Kati L. Houts Join us as we celebrate the “First Sunday in the Christmas Season.”

Sunday, December 22nd at 12:30 p.m. we celebrate "We Are The Chosen Ones" with Rev. Kati L. Houts. We lit the candle of "Love", and set-up our Christmas tree for Christmas Eve service. Hope to see you on Tuesday at 7:00 pm for our Christmas Eve Service.

Sunday, December 15th we celebrated "The Deep Joy Within our Souls" with Rev. Kati L. Houts. We lit the candle of "Joy". What makes you happy? This is easily answered for some, others like to take their time and truly ponder what it is that makes them happy, while others cannot think of anything in particular. I would guess the answer would depend on where you are in your life's journey.

Sunday, December 8th we celebrated "Riding on the Peace Train" with Rev. Kati L. Houts. We installed the new members to the Board of Servants. We entered the second Sunday in the season of Advent, as we lit the candle of "Peace".

Sunday, December 1st - We celebrated "Reflecting Hope in Our Lives" with Rev. Kati L. Houts and the First Sunday of Advent. A wonderful message giving the inspiration that God is our Hope realized through Jesus.

We also remembered World AIDS day by having a candle lighting ceremony to honor those living with HIV and those who have passed on. A special message of Hope was celebrated to remind us that God is always with us in all of our hours of need.
